Donegal Porsche driver Damien Faulkner says he’s delighted that he and his team – GB Autosport/Tully’s Coffee- took a Top 10 position at the major North American motor sports championship race – 12 Hours of Sebring – at the weekend.  IMSA  (International Motor Sports Association) race of the season in Florida.  The 12 Hours of Sebring Race  took place in Florida at the weekend, and is the second race of the season for the new IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship . It’s also only the second outing for the GB Autosport team.

“I think the whole GB Autosport team should be really proud of themselves. We came here basically in a sort of flux state,” said Faulkner today.  “We hadn’t done any testing before and we were unprepared really. It is a 12-hour race, and it’s a mammoth task. 12-hours around here in many respects is tougher than 24-hours around Daytona. So to bring the car home in 10th position after getting two punctures, especially at the place on track we got them (both in Turn-1) is just great. – See more here.
