Derry Well Women present a new face to the world online, with a revamped website to highlight all the services they have to offer in a clear and user-friendly format.
“We’ve been providing health and wellbeing services for women in the north west since 1989”, says centre manager Susan Gibson. “Over all those years, we’ve kept pace with the changing health needs of women. Now we’re keeping pace with the way in which information is accessed online – so that more women understand what we do and how we can help them in their lives.”
“We will be updating our site regularly with news and course or programme details, and using social media as well to ensure the widest number of women can access information about all our services.”
“We are absolutely delighted with the layout, colour palette and user-friendly site developed by Brenda Tierney-Joyce, Ruby Rose Creative and Trish Hegarty, Inis Communications. They completely understood us and have given our face to the public a complete, vibrant and refreshed makeover” said Carrie Jain, Chairperson at the launch of the website.
“The main thing people need to know is that Derry Well Women is a not-for-profit centre which offers health and social care services to women of all ages in a welcoming, relaxed, safe and confidential space,” says Carrie. “We are also an award-winning centre of excellence, respected by health professionals and used by over 2,000 women each year.”
DWW Manager Susan Gibson says their services cover” areas as diverse as cancer, mental health, and fitness, to parenting, breastfeeding support, miscarriage and menopause. Our approach is holistic – based on meeting women’s physical, mental and emotional needs, with the help of our health, well-being and social care experts. We deliver our services via clinics, programmes, courses, classes, support groups and counselling and other one-to-one services.”
