Donegal Porsche driver, Damien Faulkner, is off to the US again tomorrow for the 12 Hours of Sebring Race in Florida. Faulkner predicts that it will be the toughest race of this year’s IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. The race circuit at the Sebring International Raceway is 3.74 miles, says Faulkner, and has about 17 corners, which is what makes it so tough. There are an estimated 66 cars scheduled to compete, and this will be Damien’s second outing with his new team GB Autosport-Tully’s Coffee.
Practice for the “12 Hours of Sebring” Race starts on Thurs 13th and runs up to the race start on Sat. 15th March. The race starts at 10.15am EDT – which is 2.15pm in Ireland. To check out Damien’s blog, which has more details of the race, just click here.
