The Earagail Arts Festival took to the streets of Letterkenny at the weekend, to celebrate the launch of the 2010 programme of outdoor, family, music, theatre, literary and visual arts events.   This year’s  programme brochure is over 50 pages long and packed to the brim with excitement, colour and life – the sort of vibrancy we always seek to deliver every year, says artistic director Paul Brown.

“The outdoor events are the big thing for me,” says Seamus McLaughlin of Letterkenny Kia.  “Pyrotechnics, circuses with a twist – the sort of events you would never get to see locally if it weren’t for Earagail,” adds Seamus, who’s been supporting the festival for 6 years now.

“The festival helps bring tourism to the county and showcases the best of what Donegal has to offer,” says John McGinley Coaches MD, James McGinley.   This year, they’ve created a special Earagail Arts Festival coach, which will be seen up and down the road to Dublin over the next 6 weeks.
