Miley might not be with her but Biddy is dancing her way back to the ballrooms of the 50s and 60s as part of the 21st Earagail Arts Festival. The Glenroe star – aka Mary McEvoy – will lead the cast of locals and professionals in a night of dancing and music in their major festival show “Dancing at the Ballroom of Romance” at Ramelton Town Hall Theatre.
“Whether you want to be a wallflower or join in the dancing you’ll be amazed as Ramelton Town Hall is transformed into a classic dancehall complete with festoon lighting, live band, tea, mineral bar and queen cakes! ” says artistic director of the festival Paul Brown.
“This fantastic, nostalgic show is a very Donegal take on the dancehall phenomena and the ballrooms where love blossomed, with some very memorable Donegal characters you may know brought to life by the actors!
There will be a total of 6 shows on Saturday 4th July through to Wednesday 8th July at 8pm and a matinee show on Sunday 5th July at 3pm.
